Green School Bali

Kita boleh bangga lho bahwa ada satu sekolah di Indonesia yang belakangan ini kerap diulas di media media international.
Saya sendiri pertama kali melihat berita tentang sekolah ini di majalah Time.
Green School yang berlokasi di dekat sungai Ayung, menempati luas tanah hingga 10 hektar. Dan yang membuat sekolah ini menjadi terkenal adalah bangunan bangunan sekolahnya yang unik dan dibuat dengan bahan bahan yang sustainable, dan juga filosofi sekolahnya yang sangat mengedepankan cinta akan lingkungan.

Machiko Manga School

I just love Japanese comics. And if your children shows some talent in their drawing class at school, it will be fun to take it to another level. Machiko Manga School is founded by Machiko Maeyama, a japanese lady who was a professional manga artist back in Japan.
The school covers most of the basic in manga drawing and they even encourage local talent to debut their works in Japan and Indonesian publication.

Homeschooling Jakarta

Home schooling is the latest trend in Jakarta, I came across this wonderful blog in the web, written by a wonderful family that believes strongly in home schooling for their children.
The blog is full of resources and informations about home schooling and they even encourage their young children to participate in posting on the blog.

Binus school Serpong

Binus, a well known establishment that emphasizes in "vibrant, innovative and caring community" is opening a huge new school (4 hectares) in Bumi Serpong Damai. From the look from their website, the school looks great. They will be opening classes for Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School dan High school. Check out their open house this Saturday on 11th November 2006.
